Loot shows a coin number in the run. That number is potential value. Demonstrated payment is a manual sale at a cat shop in the human world after you leave alive. One evacuated haul was about 1,500 worth of items. One dog-world sale made 2,400 in profit. One upgrade spent 1,000 cash. Narrators mix the words dollars, coins, and cash. No second currency is documented. Whether unsold items stay in storage between sessions is not shown. Death deletes the value still in the bag and the gear on your character.
